The Cape Byron Lighthouse is Australia's most easterly light being situated on the most easterly point of the mainland. It is also Australia's most powerful Lighthouse.
The lighthouse museum, located in the base of the lighthouse itself, is open to the public 7 days a week from 10am - 4pm and is run by volunteers. Now, time to explore the walking track right round Cape Byron. Spectacular views are to be had in all directions from the headland.
