Ukastyle

Finally, received this beautiful necklace of fabric beads & recycled glass, made by Erika, owner of Üka a small Californian company, that makes unique eco-conscious and vegan bags, accesories and apparel.

I've met Erika online, on a photo/art/illustration forum, around the year 2002. Today, Erika graduated & became an artist/ illustrator. Find out more about her projects, and shows at erikathorpe & about her freelance design at 5doorsdown.

Between Manly & Raby Bay

East Coast Marina

Who's for a game of Cheks?

What book are you reading ?

Raby Bay is a developed canal network 40 minutes from Brisbane city, next to the historic town of Cleveland. Cleveland was originally known as a fashionable seaside resort, but now an address and a yacht in Raby Bay carries more prestige. Many charter boats depart from the Raby Bay Marina for day trips and fishing expeditions into Moreton Bay, and the calm water at the Raby Bay beaches is perfect for swimming and kayaking.

Maryborough - Qld

Located three hours from Brisbane Maryborough was settled in 1847 and is one of Queensland's oldest provincial cities.

Saturday morning, after a good night sleep at the hotel & before joining my sweetheart at The Brolga Theatre & Convention Center.

I was graced with the beautiful and tranquil, VERY old world Queens Park. It contains the biggest Banyan Tree i have ever seen, and is bounded on one side by a slope down to the Mary River.

Once the lifeblood of the town, the Mary River is still a haven for pleasure craft, a source of excellent freshwater fishing and a beautiful back drop for a lovely city.
