End of Semester

This past weeks, I have been divided between work and madness of last days at school.

Pizza on the go, walking in and out of libraries, finalizing projects, researching for written exams.

Paused - poetry by David Lawerence

For some time now, I have been a friend and unconditional admirer of David Lawrence writings, this photo is dedicated to one of his latest poems.

Everything is on hold
Everything holds
Until it doesn't
Until the image
Peels out past the
Screen
Until everything seems more than it
Really is
Illusions in my head
Dreams not shared
Unless
I find the key
Lost in the pocket of that pant leg I left in the laundromat of time and space waiting ever so patiently for my promised return
A return that may never happen in a
Waking state...

So...

Good Night

Good Night

Good Knight

A stroll through some of my fav spots in South Brisbane.

The scrap metal "Roos" are the result of a recent push by the Brisbane City Council for what they call "public art". Art that, instead of living in an art gallery, lives out on the streets among the people. They were created by local artist Christopher Trotter, who specialises in sculpture using scrap metal.
