Mad Way South - The Adventure

Mad Way South is composed by a team of wind driven adventurers will attempt to cross the Sahara desert by kite buggy, to road test and demonstrate the effectiveness of survival and outdoor equipement, especially focusing on promoting eco-friendly, carbon neutral travel.



This will be the 1st trans-saharan crossing attempted by wind power alone, it will also be the longest litte buggy journey ever attempted, 2,500km crossing the borders of Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, ending in Dakar, Senegal.



The root cause for doing Mad Way South is to raise awareness of the plight of some 30,000 children caught in the sex industry in Cambodia, funds are raised to assist "She Rescue Home - Cambodia" in their great work providing refuge to girls away from the Asian child trade.

Team is living on the 27th of July and return on the 7th of September.
