Nouveau sport de glisse en 3D, en vogue depuis 5-6 ans sur les plages, le kite-surf ou fly-surf a été inventé par des français.




Melange de cerf-volant de traction et de surf, c'est un véritable face à face avec la nature dans ses trois éléments: l'eau, l'espace et le vent. Le kitesurfeur, sur sa planche, relié à une aile par 4 fils, s'envole toujours plus haut à chaque vague, s'offrant une vue à 360°. Acrobatique, aérien, époustouflant!

Amazonie

Splendeur et démesure! Plus grande forêt du monde, plus grande réserve écologique du globe, bassin hydrographique sans egal, veritable continent d´eau douce et de végétation, la région amazonienne offre au voyageur le spectacle unique d´un monde de terre et d´eau, la beauté puissante de son fleuve, la magie de ses ciels, jamais bleus, et de ses nuits, jamais noires, emplies de milles bruits: une émotion intense!

Amazonie - caoutchouc “le bois qui pleure”

Jusqu’à nos jours, le caoutchouc fut la seule activité qui embrassa quasiment l’ensemble de l’Amazonie. Née d’une soudaine demande venant des pays industrialisés et financés par l’argent de la City de Londres, sa croissance pendant une quarantaine d’année fut aussi spectaculaire que sa fin.

Hormis des villes telles que Manaus, Santarèm ou Iquitos, il ne reste presque aucune trace visible de cette activité, mais l’on considère que l’ère du caoutchouc changea définitivement l’Amazonie du point de vue de sa population. Aujourd’hui, cette activité de petits producteurs n’a plus rien à voir avec ce que fut l’ère du caoutchouc et vit de subventions.

“Le bois qui pleure” fut responsable du seul moment pendant lequel l’Amazonie fut au cœur de l’activité industrielle. Typiques des économies coloniales extrêmement cycliques, l’extraction du caoutchouc changea définitivement le visage de l’Amazonie : la plu part de ses régions furent reconnues, jamais les Indiens ne furent autant maltraités et sa population citadine et exogène apparut à ce moment là.

Une petite citation pour commencer ... Albert Einstein avait dit: "Si l'abeille venait à disparaitre de la surface du globe, l'homme n'aurait plus que 5 années à vivre." ...

Voilà un buzz qui devrait monter en puissance dans l'avenir prochain! Depuis l'hiver 2006/2007, des milliards d'abeilles disparaissent, les apiculteurs auraient perdu près de 45% de leurs abeilles, a publié le journal Science. Les causes exactes... virus Israeli Acute Paralysis, temps, pesticide ... ne sont à ce jour pas identifiées. Si l'hiver 2007/2008 voyait la diparition totale des abeilles ... qu'adviendrait-il de l'humanité...

Amazonie

La terre est vaste et personne ne pourra jamais prétendre la connaître entièrement, cependant l'expérience que j'ai vécue et les gens que j'ai rencontrés m'ont permis de toucher la surface d'un monde dont la richesse culturelle et naturelle ne doit jamais être oubliée ou laissée de côté.

Découvrir et rencontrer d'autres cultures permettent de se découvrir soi-même et de se rendre compte à quel point nous ne sommes pas seuls. Il n'y a que lorsque l'on prend conscience de l'autre et de ses besoins qu'il est possible d'évoluer.

Ce qui nous était arrivé pendant ce voyage était une chance unique et rien ne devait nous rendre plus fiers et heureux que les souvenirs inoubliables.

Salvador Dali

I've never seen any video as wonderful, funny and delightful as this one of Salvador Dali. Love the signature at the beginning. The man was brilliant. I believe he's a leading man. He helped lead one of the most amazing artforms in known history. My favourite artist (my visit to his museum in spain) i've read most of the books He wrote, i like especially "the diary of a genious", you should hear his story when he destroyed a 5th Avenue shop window because they wanted to modify his work, and then was protected by a gangster in jail because he thought he was a dangerous monster... i adore His sence of humour. I'd sure love to travel in time and have a drink with him and Gala!!

look good in a photographe

If in the past you have always been unhappy with pictures of u, take heart, because u don’t always need to undergo complex reconstructive surgery in order to look much, much better. If u would like to look good in a photograph, whether it’s for an online dating site, a new Livejournal icon or to give your parents for Christmas, here are my tips:

Go digital. If u don’t have a digital camera, borrow one from a friend (remember to delete the photos before you give it back, no one really needs to see the rejects from your afternoon of narcissism ;o) one reason for doing it digitally is that u can instantly see how the photos are turning out & work out how to make them look better. Another reason is that u’re probably going to take a LOT of shots… & film is expensive.

Overhead lighting is your enemy. Natural light is your friend. Flash light casts really ugly shadows. The best times to take photos of yourself are at at sunrise & sunset. The reason for this is that during these times, colours are softer & warmer. If u can’t wait until these times, shoot yourself near a window that receives a lot of light.

If you can't get somebody else to take the pictures, there are several ways to approach self-portraits. One way is to frame an interesting composition and then, with your camera mounted on a tripod or another means of support, use the self-timer to trip the shutter after u get into position in front of the lens. Just remember that a self-timer will give you a very limited amount of time to get in position (usually 10 seconds). It helps if u mark your spot with tape or chalk. A mirror or some other reflective surface offers an even easier way to take a self-portrait.

Have as plain a background as u can, unless you want people to pay attention to it. If you want to be the main focus, try for a plain white backdrop.

Emphasise your best features & angle yourself so that your less attractive parts aren’t brought to anyone’s attention. If, for example, u are paranoid that u have a double chin, lying on a bed & taking a photograph from above is a bad idea. Ditto a picture of your side profile if u’re worried about your Roman nose.

Don’t zoom in too much! No one wants an extreeeeme close-up of your pores, stray eyebrow hairs or broken capillaries.

Women: wear make-up. Even a little foundation will help even out your complexion.

Men: shave. Or at least trim your eyebrows & stray nostril hairs.

Look slightly above the camera (apparently Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis did this).

SMILE! (work out whether u should smile with your teeth showing or not).

When u upload your pictures & are playing around with them in your software package of choice, try flicking them to black & white. It makes most people look pretty good.

Learn how to use Photoshop, or an equivalent. Gaining competency in Photoshop is a big job, but if you only learned how to use the healing brush & how to adjust the colour balance & contrast levels, u could do amazing things with your photos. Believe me.

Montalegre - Amazonie

Les cultures de soja trans-génique envahissent aussi la fabuleuse forêt amazonienne avec leurs redoutables cortèges de poisons pesticidés, si nocifs pour la faune locale. Elles sont uniquement destinées à nourrir le bétail qui, ensuite, finira en épais steaks hormonés et garnis d'antibiotiques, aux étals de boucheries occidentales.

Cette agriculture forestiere pourrait mieux se pratiquer ailleurs qu'en pleine forêt tropicale. Car, la nature sauvage, exuberante, multicolore de ces régions disparaît de plus en plus vite. Et la terre amazonienne ne supporte pas l'invasion massive de cultures escortée d'un tas de poisons pesticidés.

Evidemment, les surpuissants propriétaires terriens du Bresil et d'ailleurs ne sont pas enclins à abandonner un brin de leurs immenses champs.Ils font eliminer les pauvres gens qui osent s'opposer à eux.
